Exploring Animate Reality

If mindfulness is established in the body, it brings our awareness with directly felt living experience – the animate condition. This is the domain that the Buddha said we should ‘travel’ through. This retreat will explore how our thoughts, emotions, aspirations and memories are all aspects of the animate condition – and how through meeting these in the body and in the world we can navigate a path to liberation.

The retreat will include devotional practices, and contemplative work in terms of body, heart and voice. Participants are expected to keep the renunciant practices of non-conversation, non-messaging and refrain from eating after noon.

This is a livestream retreat broadcast directly from the Meditation Center.

The center reserves the right to cancel the retreat in the case of low registration.

The daily schedule will only be posted a few days before the beginning of the retreat.
