Rainbow Dharma: A 3 Days Retreat for the LGBTQIA+ Community

This retreat, the first of its kind at Beatenberg, welcomes anybody who self-identifies as LGBTQIA+. Supporting each other in a spirit of community, we will explore a practice of care, embodied kindness, wisdom, and joy in the context of meditation practice. The retreat will be in silence, blending sitting, walking and movement practices. There will be instructions and dharma talks daily, as well as Q&A sessions.

Due to the practical parameters of the house, it is likely you will need to share a bedroom while on this retreat.

Please tell us 1) your sex/gender identity and 2) your preferences for sharing a room in relation to this. Allocation will be based on your room preferences as indicated on the registration form. There is a very limited number of single rooms. We appreciate your support and understanding.

Please note: The current online registration form contains language that does not express the views and wishes of the teachers. Unfortunately our request to modify this was logistically not possible at this stage, but be assured that this is “work in progress”.

We welcome anyone who self-identifies with the queer community to support this retreat as a volunteer in the kitchen.
